Work Order Scheduling Request and Confirmation Email Templates

What are Work Order Scheduling Request and Confirmation Email Templates?

When work order requests are sent to vendors from Discovery via email, the email body includes a message that outlines the requested service.  Discovery supports the customization of this message, allowing you to tailor the email a vendor sees when receiving a work order scheduling request.

When the vendor schedules that work order, a confirmation email can be sent from Discovery to the requesting contact.  The template for this message can also be customized.

Features and Usage

  • In your Email Template Settings, customize the standard Discovery work order scheduling request and confirmation email templates.
  • Tailor your messages to match your company's messaging style.
  • Update your templates at any time.

Properties

  • Traditional text editor options (bold, italic, underline, lists, etc) are available for email message formatting.
  • Leverage dynamically generated values (e.g. Location Name); dynamically generated content automatically appears as bold text.
  • Include any company greetings/closings, seasonal messaging, payment submission options, along with contact information.
