How Do I Archive a Location?
When a location undergoes a management change and is transferred to a different client company, you may wish to archive the existing location. This allows you to hold on to location data for reporting purposes, but prevents the existing location from showing up when you search for the new location in Discovery.
Please note that only locations with no active services can be archived. For more information on terminating a service, please see the following:
Once you have terminated all services at a location, please follow the steps outlined below to archive that location:
- From the Locations index, search for the location you wish to archive.
- Click on the Location name.
- On the resulting screen, click on Archive in the top right corner.
You may wish to unarchive a location in the future. You can follow these steps to do so.
- From the Locations index, search for the location you wish to archive. You will need to adjust the search filters to show archived locations.
- Click on the location name.
- On the resulting screen, click on Unarchive in the top right corner.
