December 2024 Update

We are excited to share the following enhancements to our service levels! These updates deliver a more efficient experience in both vendor invoice processing and client invoice generation, along with an upgraded visual presentation for an even more intuitive interface.

Service Types

Discovery offers five standard service types, and we are thrilled to announce that we now offer users the ability to edit existing service types and create new service types tailored to each business's unique requirements.

Service View Enhancements

We've redesigned the service view page. Watch this brief video for an overview of the latest changes.

Per Unit and Per Occurrence Charges

The charges previously referred to as "per ton" and "per haul" have now been replaced with "per unit" and "per occurrence," respectively.

While the functionality remains unchanged, these updated terms offer a more accurate reflection of real-world billing practices.

In addition, whereas "per ton" and "per haul" charges were exclusively applied to Rolloff services, the new "per unit" and "per occurrence" charges can now be applied to custom service types, as well as Rolloff services.

Excess and Contaminated Charges Report

The Excess and Contaminated Charges report is now available under Standard Reports. This report shows a filtered list of excess and contaminated line items sourced from vendor invoice line items.

This report is available in our Audit and Revenue tiers. It breaks down excess and contamination charges at a client, location and service level, empowering informed decision-making by providing insights into each customer's specific service needs.
