October 9th 2026 Patch Notes

New
- Added bulk type and subtype assignment to the OCR Vendor Invoice edit page. Users can select one, several, or all line items and use Bulk Assign to set their type and subtype in one step, matching the existing behavior on the Vendor Invoice edit page
- Added three new fields to vendor contracts: an optional Vendor’s Contract Reference and Customer Name in Record Information, and a Month to Month Reason dropdown. The reason is set to “No Reason Set” automatically when a contract enters Month-to-Month status, can be changed to “Watching for Price Increase” or “Reviewed, No Action Needed,” and every change is recorded in the contract’s activity history
- Added a connect experience to the MCP Access page in User Settings. Cursor and VS Code users can connect to the Discovery MCP server in one click, Claude and ChatGPT users get the endpoint copied with step-by-step instructions, and Claude Code users get a ready-to-paste command with no token required
Improvements
- The Discovery MCP server now tells connected AI assistants which Discovery features are enabled for your account, both when they connect and in the schema description. An assistant can now tell a view that is empty because a feature isn’t enabled apart from one with no matching records, rather than reporting a total of zero
- The service timeline, expanded Service History, and service change detail pages now show Effective Date (when a change takes place) and Recorded Date (when it was entered) in place of “Actual Date.” Past terminations no longer show one day late, and scheduled terminations no longer show the date they were entered. Billing and pickups for terminated services are unchanged
Bug Fixes
- Fixed issue causing saved check payment batches on Client Payments to fail with a blank popup and nothing saved
- Fixed issue causing the Republic Services Rover to stop finding new invoices while accounts continued to show as Healthy
- Fixed issue causing Mark Dunning Industries vendor portal credentials to be marked “Authentication Failed - Other” when the vendor’s login page was not responding, even though the credentials were valid
- Fixed issue causing the Clear button in dropdown fields to sometimes leave the old value in the form. This also affected Work Order, Incident, Pickup, and Location Audit create forms, which could save a service that no longer matched the newly selected location
- Fixed issue causing report PDF renders that timed out to leave background browser processes running, which could slow the system down over time
