August 28th 2026 Patch Notes

New
- Added new error-bucket filters (Missing Services, Accounting/Posting Errors, Approval Errors) to the Audit index page, so the audit team can jump straight to invoices with a specific problem.
- Improved invoice line-item classification, adding support for testing new classification models on a per-tenant basis before wider rollout.
- Split the old single "stuck" service status into two clearer ones — "Draft" (required data is missing) and "Pending Activation" (effective date date is in the future) — with banners and warnings that explain what's holding a service back.
- Added a tenant setting to send the actual invoice date (instead of the fiscal period date) to QuickBooks Online.
- Added the ability to manually re-sync the balance of client and vendor invoices with QuickBooks Online, for cases where an automatic update didn't come through.
- Added the ability to assign vendor invoices to specific teammates, filter by assignee, and get notified when an invoice is assigned to you.
- Added a "Reporting Cadence" field to Client Company records, with list-page filtering and bulk-update support.
Improvements
- Migrated the Client Portal off the beta API onto direct application routes, improving reliability and stability.
- Completed a significant internal overhaul of the API and controller validation layer. No new behaviors were added; this establishes consistent validation rules across web and API requests and lays the groundwork for safely freezing and snapshotting the API at a given version going forward.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed issue causing a background search-indexing job to overload the database and slow down the app during large runs.
- Fixed issue causing the Incident CSV export to omit most incident fields; exports now include full incident details with readable names instead of internal IDs.
