Discovery Product Update

We’re excited to share some great updates to Discovery, driven by your valuable feedback! These enhancements aim to make your experience more intuitive, efficient, and enjoyable.

Enhanced Navigation

We’ve redesigned the navigation experience to give you more control and flexibility:

  • Left-Side Navigation: The navigation pane has moved from the top of the screen to the left-hand side for easier access.
  • Streamlined Search: The search bar is now a sleek magnifying glass icon in the top left corner. You can also access the global search at any time by hitting the forward slash key (/.)
  • Customizable Display:
    • Expand or Collapse: Expand or collapse the navigation pane.
    • Reorder Items: Drag and drop to reorder navigation items based on your workflow — keep your most-used tools at the top.
    • Favorites: Pin frequently used items to the top by clicking the ⭐ icon when hovering over a navigation item.
    • More: Hide your least frequently used items by moving them to More.

Clickable Index Rows

We’ve made navigating your content even more seamless. Now, you can click anywhere on an index row to open it—no more hunting for the Edit button off to the side. Just tap the row and dive right in. It’s faster, easier, and way more intuitive.

Extract Page Redesign

The Extract edit page has been completely refreshed for better usability:

  • Side-by-Side View: The invoice PDF now appears alongside the invoice info and extracted line items.
  • Independent Panels: Resize and scroll each pane independently for a more flexible editing experience.
  • Collapsible Issues Banner: Save space by collapsing the issues banner at the top when it's not needed.
  • Copy Text Tools: Copy text directly from the PDF and paste it into the invoice info.
  • Clear Error Highlighting: Errors are now shown in bright red for quick identification.
  • Collapsible Line Items: Keep your workspace clean by expanding only the items you need.

Introducing "AI Select" to Extract

Our new AI Select tool, available to users of Extract, harnesses the power of AI to cut down on manual input of line item data.

Use it to enter new line items or edit existing ones. Learn more in this video.
