How do I edit Discovery Notification Settings?

Discovery provides control over in app and email based notification settings. When a trigger action is detected, a message can be displayed within the app or an email can be sent to the user's email address with a summary of the completed action.

Available actions that are monitored include:

  • A data export is finished
  • An incident is assigned to me
  • An incident is created by a client user
  • An incident is created by an employee user
  • A work order is created for compactor monitors
  • A work order is scheduled for compactor monitors
  • A monitor has not detected any runs in X days

Here's how to manage what actions you'd like to be notified about and by what method (In app or email):

Navigate to the My Account screen using the drop down menu in the top right corner (below your profile name in the navigation bar).

Click on the Notifications tab,.

In the Notifications section, toggle the Discovery (in-app) or Email options, or both, beside each action to customize your preferences.

In the Daily Summaries section, you can choose to receive a daily summarized list of services with unresolved issues. You have the option to toggle between Discovery (in-app) and Email notifications, or select both if you prefer.

Click the Save button.
